Hey guys I recently got my fiance a 92' GSX. I went to install one of my old CD Players into it and I have to wire it manually. I 've looked at wire codes and colors and I'm stumped. THere are multiple white wires with red stripes, as well as white wires with blue stripes. Now one of those wires are supposed to be red/white , and white/blue, but Not a set of 3 for each. Has anyon else seen this?

It's been a while since I wired a 1g, but I believe one goes to the speaker in the door, and the other goes to the speaker in the dash. I have a print out of which is which, but it is at home. You should have a couple sets of wires the same color... just tie them all together.

Edit: This may help http://www.vfaq.com/mods/wiring-1genplug.html

Now that I think of it. The two wires of the same color were for the dash and door speakers. Respectively connect them to the gray, gray/black, white, white/black from the back of the new radio.

Oh ok. I didn't know the 1g had dash speakers ha. THat'd probably be why. I was going to splice them together tomorrow to see what it did LOL. But thanks. If you could upload that wiring diagram later I'd appreciate it. I have one but would prefer a second to make sure that's where they go.

Yep NP, The dash speakers are directly below the A pillars. I believe its two phillips head screws for each cover. Then I think its a 4 inch speaker on each side. May be 3-3.5" It's been a couple years since I've worked on a 1g.
