Winter time! And no heater :( help!!

Well guys I've replaced the water pump, thermostat , n was about to replace the climate control until I saw the rod underneath the dash out. The cable goes to the first pin underneath then from there it goes to the other place as u guys kno but then I saw this broken, is this why? I also have ac delete and the air is still pretty cold.

Yes, that is your problem for sure. That attaches to your blend air door. The blend air door is what allows air going through your heater core to be directed into the cabin so that you can get heat. Without it working correctly you will not be able to control the heat.:(

Can turn the heater down there manually, so there's heat full time then?
