well when i bought my rims, i totally forgot about the winter aspect of it, even tho only the lips chrome, are there any products or methods to help keep the chrome from not rusting .. i heard of cleaning it off with vaseline helps a little, anyone know of any sprays or anything else that might help..

Zoop Seal would probably work, but be expensive. Just keep up on washing them and you should be fine. At least once per week.

couldn't you put your stock rims on in the winter? That's what most people i know that have nice rims do.

If not, just keep them cleaned and waxed. Especially keep the road salts off them, that does the most damage.

Just keep them washed and also use some good paste wax on them it will help protect the wheels. Ive done that for years on my truck and the wheels look good as new.

Honestly, I know this isn't the answer that you're looking for, but you should be able to pick up a set of black steelies with good rubber for around $100. That would be the ultimate solution for your dilema.

Hell, even my 49 year old mother takes her summer wheels off to install her OE steelies for winter. ;)
