Windsheild Wiper adn intermittent Problem

on my 98 gs my wipers work but none of the intermittents work, and when i go to shut them off, they 98% of the time just shut off where they are at that moment and dont return to the normal down position unless you time it right and sometimes that doesnt even work. I heard if you replace the motor it might fix this but i dont know this.

What could it be and how do i fix it??

You might have a wiper delay/relay unit that is acting up on you. Relay box is usually by the passenger shock tower.

im having similar issues right now, my car will intermittently do the same thing and also sometimes the wiper arms will move very slow even if i have it on a higher setting.

Relay box is usually by the passenger shock tower.

On a 2g it's in the steering column.

mine are eather on or off and always stop as soon as I turn them off.
