Your car runs great Evil..but your sig is still showing FP3065.I thought you upgraded it as per your review?;) ;)

I was wondering how you ran the supra tt pump and the walbro..are you running a walbro inline or dual pumps in the tank? What -an line?
I am near finishing up my 97 awd with 2.4.I have supra tt pump, FIC 950s and sx afpr. Running at least 6- an from tank to rail. Will rewire supra pump as well. Just wondering if should run another inline or something.Whatever you are running seems to be working.:D

Also do you have any problem with the arp main studs..did you use a dowel kit or just align bore them?I am hearing all stories not to bother with them but have the arp mains and dowel kit already so still thinking go ahead and do it.Your opinions are appreciated.
Also what head gasket do you run.I am trying the hp cometic and getting my head and block smoothed out big time for it.

I am planning FP3065 want to stay BB. Figure it should spin up fine with my 2.4.Have good stuff in it..crower rods, crower valves springs, wiseco pistons, acl bearings, hks 264 /272 for the moment and jm 1g smim,1g head,1g tb.
Clutch up in air think try Competiton one.have dsmlink and maft for tuning.Cooling mist water/alco injection. Not sure on which fmic yet.

Hoping to be up and running this spring with any luck.

Yeah i just haven't updated my profile, I am on the 3575 turbo now, not the 3065 turbo. And I have dual wallbro setup, 2 255lph pumps both intake with -8an fuel line from the pumps to the rail now, stock return fuel line for now. I had the supra pump and the wallbro 255lph pump both intake but it did not work out very well, 2 completly different pumps with 2 different flow capabillity.

And as far as the ARP mains, I did not have it lined honed nor have a dowel kit. They seem to be just fine. I have read that as well, but never have had 1st had experiance with any issues as of yet. But for saftey messures and so you can sleep at night I would atleast get it lined honed if you plan on doing the ARP mains. Honestly I did it just cause they were there at the time I built the motor. The stock ones have been well proven time after time again. I beleive the stock main bolts will handle well over 500-600whp. There are alot of people pushing 600+ on stock main bolts. So if your not wanting to go through all the hassle then just use the stock main bolts.

Good luck man.

veeeery cool, man. congrats.
I'm hoping for the 12s by the end of summer

...buuut I'm in a 4300 lbs wagon.

Thanks Evil for the heads up. Maybe I will run two supra tt pumps later on if need be.

I have to decide shortly if should do the arp dowel kit or just use stock main bolts. It is quite a bit more to do the align bore and a bit worried if they mess up my block.

Too many opinions about everything on the forums..gets very confusing to know what to do.

Hmmm...one thing I don't like about the Walbros is their reliability. I'm on #3 in 4 years. They crap out quite fast IMO. I would instead use a single Bosch motorsports 044 pump in tank and run a -8 line to the rail.

However, my single walbro, stock feed line to filter with 1,000cc's seems to be working just fine at 30psi and low 11's AFR. IDC is right at 82% uptop with a 43psi base.

Nice vid Jake as always. Nothing like seeing a street looking car take on what seems like a race car and still win! :sneaky: ROFL :thumb:

Yeah I haven't had an issue with the wallbro's yet (knock on wood) But I plan on changing the fuel system out.

How are you hitting 82% IDC with 1000cc's? Did you run that 116mph traps with that amount of IDC?

Anyway, if you liked that video, you will love this one if you haven't seen it allready.

No Jake...I ran the 117mph on much lower boost 20-21psi and I had 850cc's then. The 82% IDC is at 30psi, 11.2AFR, 110 leaded. Stock head with 272's, stock intake manifold. I haven't run it yet at that 30psi level. I need to see what it would do before I throw on the ported head and smim sitting here. :boring: :p

Watched it...sick as hell! Good luck in the quicker times this year.

Ahh man the hell with that, throw that head and SMIM on RIGHT NOW!! I demand you!! haha. You need to get that sh1t handled bro. Get that baby close to the 130mph traps, you will love it man, talk about boners all night long LOL.

Glad you liked the video bro, there will be more to come this season, but you won't see street tires on it, good ole hoosier QTP's all 4, can't wait to run it.

I had a few more questions for you Evil as you ran the 3065 and the new bigger turbo.
Are you running an aftermarket trans like Tre or shep ?Are you running 4 spider center diff or welded one or what.?
How many stock trans or center diffs did you go thru running the kind of times you have run.
And curious if I keep the 3065 down to say 15 to 20 psi until I get a high perf trans and 4 spider diff will my stock trans survive. The 2.4 might make it easier to shift but guess you need to launch very high to get those big 3065s moving out of the hole..I have dsmlink to set the stutterbox. What rpm are you launching at to get those crazy times.

I was on a stock tranny last season, stock center open diff and all. The tranny held just fine as my tires just spun like none other. Right now as of 2 weeks ago I put the welded center diff in, no other mods to the tranny. I will see how the new welded center diff does when the tracks open up here in april.

You can run as much boost as you want on a stock tranny, it just all depends on how you treat it. Every car is different though. So you can't expect your tranny to hold like mine did, it may and it may not hold.

I was launching the car off the 2 step at 6500rpm, half throttle all through 1st gear, didn't really matter what throttle I was at off the line, still sat on the 9500rpm rev limiter.

Will's stock mains took 633whp uncorrected just fine today, we'll see how it all holds up after a full season

We're running a supra pump intank to a walbro 395 inline (255hp) which gets triggered by the aem at 15psi. It's been working great so far, that's always another option that's pretty easy to setup.

I can't wait to see your car with traction finally Jake, low 10s :thumb:

Evil- First id like to say nice car and grate driving.. with that said. When you hooked up your GM BCS how did u know witch wire was witch the harness is 2 gray wires? do you have any pic's of it in the engine bay? Is it easy to tune the boost through the AEM? I have the AEM the 3.5 the IAT and the BCS all wired up and installed. I ran all the wires into the cabin and did not put the AEm in yet thats the next big step.
Thanks
Danny
