will transmission match up?

I have the non turbo 6-bolt 4g63 in my 91 and i'm looking for a transmission locally to rebuild. none of the junkyards have any of the cars with 4g63's left in them (go figure) except 1 and its an auto so i found one of the 1.8 cars and got the numbers off the top of the tranny. here are the numbers off the 1.8 5-speed KF5M22 1VPKV RV8456. Hopefully someone knows what number matters. the numbers on my 5-speed for my 4g engine are KF5M22 2VPZV LS3356.

If i had to guess i'd say it would fit because the transmission tag on my firewall says F5M22 and they both have that first. the tag on the junk eclipse was painted over. it looks like the first set is the trans model and the second and third is the serial number. anyone know if thats right? and if it will bolt up?

well i guess its a good thing i found a different one from a 4g motor then.......

That's right, the first part is the model number, and the rest is a serial number or something. The transmission should fit, but since the last groups of numbers are different, I think there's a chance that the ratios may be different. As far as bellhousing bolt pattern, as far as I know, ALL the four cylinder Mitsubishi transmissions share the same pattern.
