Will this hurt my car?

I have a hallman boost controller with a cockpit control. Will it hurt my car to turn the boost down to zero While driving in the city?

You can't go much lower than stock boost. You will still get 8-10PSI even with the controller all the way down, because that's when the stock actuator gives.

The lowest boost setting you can get is whatever the spring of your wastegate actuator is set to, which is about 10 psi. If you wanna go boost free, get a lighter foot.

^ ^ ^ Yup. You turn boost to zero with your right foot. It's not something you want to do with a turbo'd motor and its lack of compression ratio. Your mileage will be crap, and your performance worse. It will hurt your car to be run over by an '85 Excell.

boost controllers can only turn boost up(from stock).
