Will running with a bad injector harm my ECU?

Hey guys,
I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to hurt my ECU by driving my car home (4 miles) on a bad injector. Car is running on three cylinders, and it threw a code 41. I checked the resistance of the injector and it is fully open (not shorted, infinite resistance). Will it be ok to drive my car home a few miles?

I'm guessing it will be fine, Normally I hear of a shorted injector or a dead resistor pack killing ECU's. I dont think an open circuit would hurt it, but I've been wrong before!! Thanks!

the car should be fine..i drove mine 20 miles on three cyl..didnt go very fast, but i got home. Just replace the injector as soon as possible.

The open injector won't hurt the ECU. On a turbo car the injector resistors are twice as much resistance as the injectors so I'm not sure that even a shorted one would do any damage. On an NA, a shorted injectors would toast the driver.

Thanks for the help guys! I bought a set of injectors after work and popped them in. Runs like a champ again!
