ecu will this work with my car?

i have a 1992 tsi awd. one of the caps in my ecu leaked and wrecked the board. the ecu number was md166262. i got one from a guy who said it would work with mine and the number is md165529. the boards are exactly the same but if i search it tells me its for a fwd turbo automatic and ive also seen just awd turbo. will this work with mine??

It comes up as a 1G Federal FWD Automatic ECU. I believe that will not be usable for you at least without modification.
