i rebuilt the motor and everything has been fine but this and its been this way sense the beging of the rebuild. Whats happening is when i try to hit boost it hults feels like a fuel cut or something. Now my original thought was because i have an 18g with no supporting fuel mods but a walboro 255hp. But i was thinking today "could it have anything to do with my knock sensor not being hooked up?" And i know what your thinking "why the hell is his knock sensor not hooked up?" long story short thought it was something else and i cut the clip off of the wiring harness and havnt been able to find it sense, i really just dont have time. but would that have anything to do with my issue?

Any answers would be great.

Well since our cars really need the knock sensor to run properly get one asap. The car doenst know what to do. If it sees knock, it will pull timing. But the car cant see anything if I read your post right. Also you need a afpr with a 255, your throwing too much fuel at the car with the 255.

I know i need a afpr, injectors, and a way to control them but i dont have the money right now. The knock sensor is still there i just got to wire the clip back in which will be my little project for tommorow, i was just having a hard time finding the wire in the wiring harness. I just wanted to know if that was affecting my boost issue and if not, what?

It won't affect your pressure. Only thing that won't allow to build boost is a leak. Gotta boostleak test your car before anything else.

i did a boost test and there was no leaks. So i still dont know what the heck is up.

Your turbo has a problem with either the wasgate or the boost guage is broke . If all else is good your turbo is broken . It should at least make 1 psi even if the wasgate was unhooked.

You're knocking and timing is being pulled. I have the same problem, but i believe it's because my lifters sound like jackhammers. I also have zero boost leaks since I did the test and fixed them all.

Get a new knock sensor and see if that works. Just run your car light and don't try to make it boost.

like fwdturbobov1996 said, our cars need those sensors or it's like a blind man walking around a maze without his walking stick. He just doesn't know what to do.

see thats the thing originally i thought it was the turbo but the turbo is good and so is the waste gate.

ok so now theres a new symptom, i got home from work and i noticed it was acting funny so i was reving the motor and when i let go the rpms would fall past idle and almost die then go back to idle, So i revied it like to 5000 and when i did that it did die.

Now to me this sounds like a boost leak so maybe i did messed up the test when i did it i dont know, im gonna do anohter one here in a bit.

I really need some fast responses on this guys cause i got to drive it to work tommorow.

how is blow off valve routed? I know on the gst and gsx if you've unhooked the blow off valve where it recirculates it will cause that same thing.... iknow people want the loud woooosh but on those cars the ecu expects that air to recirculate....

well i did another boost test and oh my god was there so many leaks i fixed them all but the injector seal leak i had to order from sbr cause its a damn dealer order! But it runs much better, but i will be posting soon cause i think theres another problem but i wont get in to it yet.

oh and as far as the recirculating goes im not but fortunately it runs just fine so i knew that wasn't the problem, and yes i know all about how it doesn't run right with it like that and blah blah blah but mine runs just fine.

Thanks everyone for the help.
