Ok here it is .... I have a 6bolt 1st gen w/9-1 pistons, web cams,1m oversize valves, turbonetics manifold, hks gt 3037 and tial35mm etc...... I have tried changing pressure signals, porting manifold, porting wastegate, wastegate port on manifold, changed wastegates...nothing works.

wastegate holds 9psi til apx 5k then from 5-6500 I get creep all the way to 21-22 psi.

Is it possable that:

A: wastegate is to small
b: not enough pulse from one runner to controll

These are the two possabilities that Im left with but...... arent there others running this type of setup on the steet?

help.....

What boost controller are you using? If its the AVCR electronic then you may want to mess with the boost curve and the duty that youre running. Also you may want to try a different spring in the wastegate. Hope this helps.

the 35mm Tial maybe too small for a turbo that size. Also, the spring in the wastegate might be too weak. If you got the 9psi spring, I'm betting it can't keep the valve closed at higher rpm, and is getting blown open. Swap in a 14 or 17psi spring. That should make it stop creeping. If it doesn't, then go buy a 40mm Tial.
