Will my tranny from my 64 bolt up to a 63?

I was just curious. Because I am building a 63 motor and I would like to not have to spend money for a new tranny if I really dont need to. But if I have to I will.

Yes it will bolt up. I'm not sure if the internals are any different as far as strength is concerned. But I know for sure it will bolt up and work. But the 64 tranny seems to be pretty hardcore. Ive been running it in my turbo 2.4 spyder for a few years now.

I think it depends. It may be different in the cars. But our Mighty Max has a 4G64 block and the trans will NOT bolt to a 63.

Sweet. So basically i can keep my 64 tranny and to a 63 motor swap?
