Will KW coilovers work on a AWD 2g?

Hi guys,
So today I was ready to buy a set of KW's for my AWD Talon, but then saw that they are only ment for FWD's. Just wanted to know if they would fit, and if I would need to ask for springs with different rates due to the weight difference.

On 2Gs FWD and AWD it is the same... They will fit..
Spring rates are different from fwd and awd on stock springs. In aftermarket it doesn't matter..

If you're looking at the Variant 3s, I'm interested in what you think of them once they're on the car. The design is weird, but innovative. (It's a twin tube with a canister, which makes no sense on the surface, but they have their reasons.) The dyno plots say they are more like Konis than any Asian coilover: good ratio of rebound to bump and highly digressive in the latter.

I have ran a set of ksport coilovers on fwd and awd dsm... so issues at all.

Will definitely let you know. I have a set of un identifiable coilovers at the moment (silver body w/blue spring). Every pothole takes life out of my talon. Once everything goes through, I will take them for a run and let everyone know. Might be in this week (3 day shipping). Normally I'll wait, but going to a skrillex concert, and am going with this girl from work. Either that or I take the wonderful barf TTC.

Just wanted to send an update, coils have been ordered from HPA Motorsports in Canada (means no import fees upon arival, yay!) The sales rep was very friendly and helpful. Just saying incase someone else from Canada was interested in a set. Looking forward to their arrival.

Might attempt a DIY install. Any pointers for this?

Just as a final update to those interested. Installed them myself. Took much longer than expected thanks to rusted bolts, rain and me misplacing things. Plan on getting them set up professionally, but the difference between the KYB coilovers the last owner had is larger than night and day. With the KYB's, I had to avoid potholes and such as it was much too firm. Went down an insanely bumpy street and could almost let go of the wheel completely where as the last coils would have sent me into on coming traffic. Even with cornering. It's just insanely stable. Can honestly take corners twice as sharp going 50km/h, no tire squeal or anything. Just slide against the door thanks to the leather seats. Also installed my stop tech brake pads. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. Always happy to lend a helping hand.

Yep. Variant 3's. Internal canister. According to their website, some cars have the external one and some are built in. Having an external canister makes no difference in ride quality. Lol. Still can't get over how amazing they are.
