will a crank from a revised block (98-99) fit on a 95-97 block non revised?

Ok guys so a friend spun a rod and started eating the crank. I found a guy on tuners who has a crank from a 98 revised engine. I know they have split thrust bearings and I wanna know if a crank with the split beaings will fit in a block that didnt use the split bearings. What I was thinking was that the block is just diffrent right? The crank is the same as 95-99? Or you cant use a revised crank in a non revised block?? This is for a 97 gst automatic fwd. This car is still stock and my friend isnt going to put any mods in it so it will stay stock. Thanks

7 bolt crank is 7 bolt crank. So yes it will fit. Use the bearings designed for the block.

Oh ok thanks a lot. Ive heard people say you couldn switch between cranks if they have been revised. I guess you learn something new everyday! thanks appreciate the help!
