Will a 97 ECU work on a 95?

As long as you buy a turbo ECU it will work in any 95-99 DSM. I had a 99 ECU in my 95 GS-T and never had a problem.

I have a 96 ECU in my 95.

What I noticed with mine is the 95 is less picky with the CEL. I had no FPR solenoid or BCS plugged in and the 95 would never thow a CEL. As soon as I put in the 96 it start throwing codes.

Yep I agree, The 95 ecu isn't very picky at all.. But more recently manufactured ecu's seem to want EVERYTHING running tip top or that little orange light of doom is gonna start blinding you.

:(

Cool. Thanks for the help guys.

One more thing...
Is there a way to test if your ECU is working?
Mine wont commutate with my pocketlogger. Also, my car dies when I plug in my MAF.

I'm pretty sure it's dead, but I want to check for sure.
