GOT THIS OFF VFAQ.COM !

"Now that you know that your ISC is bad, you need to find one! Start calling around at the local junk yards. The ISC for the 2.0L engines are all the same for Turbo or Non-Turbo cars. I have a 92AWD and I'm using an ISC off of a 93 Non-turbo and it's working great! "

so the answer is yes!

i've read that before must of skipped over that part LOL

Just curious to see if your car is doing the same as mine.

When i start mine up like in the morning to go to work, it basically feels like it wants to die.
I have an automatic, so it hardly dies like ya'lls manuals. OR any cold start where the car has been sitting for a while.

But about 30 seconds after the cold start the problem clears up within 1 second...

???? sound like your problem?

sorta of,do you have a cel? i do,LOL thats how i know its the isc and it idles low and you can tell when you turn your fan on for heat or a/c it revs high, if it does that then you need a new one

Well my CEL is on for my 02 sensor last time i checked...
When i turn on my A/C my car feels like it wants to die, doesnt rev high but one time.
I went and got a used ISC today ne ways, cleaning it right now and im gonna install to see if it helps.

Well i put the new one in... it made it worse, car died everytime.
So i took my original one out, let it soak in gas, then sprayed it with carb. cleaner.
Also totaly cleaned both sides of the throttle body with carb. cleaner till it looked brand new.

I have to say, just doing those 2 things has made a big difference in how my car idles and how it takes off from a light @ normal driving speeds.

Even if it has stopped doing it on your car, i would take it out just to clean it up, mine was really dirty.
