will 2g headers fit on a 1g?

ok i did some searching and didnt find anything, will 2g headers fit on a 1g, and which is better?

Yup they will fit and if you get N/T 2.0 headers they are all the same. I BELIEVE that the 2.4 SOHC one's will bolt up as well AND they have a larger ID tube's used for making them.

thanks im on a budget and i cant really find any 1g headers at all plus the 2nd gens are cheaper so. also will the exhaust itself fit, as in the cat-back?

didnt think so oh well ive heard good things about the monza 2.5 inch i was gonna get but anyways i finally found a post about his and it said that the 2g headers will only fit on the 7-bolt not hte 6-bolt because the 6-bolts head is shapoed and spaced a little different. do you know anything about this?

Yea but I saw you have a 93 so your car is a 7-bolt.

Yes, what you last stated is correct.

I am not sure myself on whether the down-pipe measurments are equivalent or not, however from there back is different as stated previously.

From the rear the pipe is on the right for the 1st gens and on the left for the 2nd.

oh ya i knew that i was just wonderin if its true or not. haha ya i found out for sure i had a 7-bolt when i gave her a long overdue oil change last night. someone had told me it was possible to have a 6-bolt in that year but i really didnt so.
