Will 2G downpipe fit on 1G?

I am looking at this Ebay auction for 2G downpipe, descriptions says it's only for 2G, I emailed the guy and asked if it will fit 1G he said, NO.

So will it or won't?

Pretty sure it won't becaue the turbos let out at diffent spots plus the intercooler inlets have different shapes.
