Just got done with it and I'm pleased! Did the wire cover to match. It's taking everything in my power to wait to put it on (JUST finished, needs to cure.) Just wanted to share. :)

That is slick! Both in paint and looks!

That looks awesome man! Also, OP, it was you with the small chips on the front of the car and spoiler wasn't it? How did that all go? Did you get it taken care of?

It's on. :D

Matching my Wildberry bov & dipstiick handle. And valve stem caps. :hellyeah: Hey, its the little things, ya know? :D

The first picture was sunlight only, no flash. Is there something in particular you wanted to see? Paint was mixed at a local body shop, exact match.

It was me with the little white marks, which I now think are in the clearcoat. I've tried everything I could think of, but they are too far under the surface. The whole car will be repainted later this summer. Can't wait!!

The paint on top of the bov got messed up right away, it touches the hood/heat shield. :notgood: I guess the flange is too tall. Anyone else have this problem or know of an easy fix? Or maybe my flange is made improperly?

Hey, Nice cover! What type of paint did you use? and did you use primer, and what type? Thanks

I bought VHT paint for mine but haven't paint it yet... ohh did you use clear as well?

Looks great! I just got mine painted and on along with the bov.. my bov hasn't gotten messed up yet...*crosses fingers* I hope it doesn't

I used vht engine primer and clear. Prepped by cleaning with brake cleaner, sanding & polishing letters, lil more brake cleaner, scuffed, wax & grease remover then blow gun. 4 coats each - primer, paint & clear. Baked it at the body shop. They use dupont paints, not sure exactly which flavor he mixed for me.

You'll know right away on your bov. First drive was all it took and I had a nice half circle of Wildberry on my heat shield that was no longer on my bov. I just used primer, custom mixed rattlecan and clear on it. The rest is holding up beautifully 6-8 months later. Same on my cheap valve stem caps, those are almost a year and look as good as the day I did them. I'll either have to take the flange to a machine shop, or perhaps its a great excuse for a new 1g flanged upper pipe..... painted Wildberry, of course. :D

Thanks for all the compliments, its like Christmas here. :p
