First off my car has 102k miles on it and i just got it back from dodge for the lateral arm, t-case, and fuel tank recalls after the lateral arm seperated and caused some nice damage, all done for free. The car sat for 2 months (including the time in the shop [3 weeks]) I started it about every week 2 times a week or more. Before the arm broke i checked shafted play and there was none from what i can remember, i might be wrong. When i got it back there was this whining that started up. It started at 2.2k rpm and got louder till 2.5-2.8k rpm and then dropped off and went away at 3.2k rpm. At idle or before 2.2k rpm it's fine and after 3.3k rpm and boost it's fine. It doesn't blow smoke or burn oil. I checked shaft play and there is some side to side. I pushed on the shaft and turned the turbine and it was a little harder to turn when i put pressure on it obviously but it does not touch the housing at all. I am thinking a small vac leak that seals up past 3.3k rpm. Thanks, Brandon [VFRacing]
