2G Wideband with DSMlink

Alright, im in a toss up right now. Im going to be running aem wideband with dsmlink and im not sure what to do. The downpipe has a bung already welded in before the cat. If I place my WB there, how will I run dsm link with it? I wanted to replace my rear o2 but deleting the cat right now is not an option. Any thoughts?

Put it in the extra bung before the downpipe. Widebands should be 36 inches away from the turbo so that about right.

It gets wired into the ecu, it's pretty simple. You can wire it in place of the rear o2 which is pin 75 assuming this is a 2g. http://www.ecmtuning.com/wiki/widebandbasics

From what I've read, running it in the front o2 bung is the best? Correct me if I'm wrong please.

That's the way I run mine bro, no issues at all. Either way you already have a bung down stream or you can use the front.

Hate to bring this back but quick question. Do I need to change the setting on the WB itself? I heard I need to switch it to po4 setting on the back of the gauge?

I have a relevant ? so im poking it in here.

If i want to wire in my wideband o2 into my rear o2, cant i just use the existing wires that are present for the rear o2 and solder them in there? Everything i read says to splice into the wire harness at the ECU at pin##.

The sensor it self connects to the gauge with a harness. Then separately it has a wire used for data logging. The ECU and gauge are much closer to each other than trying to run a wire from the gauge back down to the actual o2. Honestly you can do it however. But why make it harder?
