2G wideband wiring help

ok so new to this got everything hooked up for wideband now im wiring it directly into the ecu and the wire is pin 75 which i cut stripped out now the question is. DO i have to connect the borth parts where snipped and splice in the wire from the wideband? or do i just connect the wideband to the wire connector part that plugs into ecu?

Assuming you are trying to feed an analog (0-5v) wideband signal into the ECU so ECMLink can read it you only need to attach the wire to the ECU side and not connect both ends of the original wire you cut.

Does that make sense to you?

Then configure ECMLink for it.
