Wideband Replacement Wire

I have an aem wideband in my eclipse and the other day when I put my turbo and everything back on I didnt look at to where the wideband cord was laying. Turns out it was sitting within reach of the fan and part of it got chewed up. Do I have to replace the entire cord, via extremempsis "aemuego wideband replacement sensor" or can I just splice the existing cord?

If you are good at soldering you should be able to just splice the existing cable back together. If you can't solder then don't bother and get a new cable. It is extremely important that those connections have as close to 0 voltage drop as possible or your wideband will never be accurate again.

Yeah as the guy said above, I would imagine you could simply just solder it. That is, if you know what you're doing.
The replacement cord would just be for someone who doesn't want to deal with that.
