Wich Revised lifters to buy?

Ok so I'm putting some revised lifters in, I found some deccent prices on eBay but I was wondering wich would b better quality, Topline or Itm? Or if anyone knows of any other brands that are good quality for around the same price please let me no, thanks

Well what pressure is that wd at? I thought it was something like 20psi. That would completely change the results.

You can see the revised are flowing the max that the can can put out with plenty of room to spare.

Companies still sell 1g lifters? I have some 1g lifters in my car now that are working fine but was thinking of upgrading to the 3g lifters for the bigger cams I plan to run soon on my new build. All ya see these days are people recommending 3g lifters anymore. Hmmm....looks like a good debate/discussion.

I've always considered the issues with 1g/2g lifters to be proof of their design flaw. There's a reason Mitsu switched to 3g style lifters for every DOHC engine after 99. They'll obviously both get the job done, the 3g lifters will just do it quieter, and for longer.

I bought new ones a few years back not sure if they were revised but no problems with them, I think they were the revised ones from extreme psi.

But you can't get these anymore can you? I mean I have some that are still good and I guess I can reuse them okay, but no one actually "sells" these anymore....correct???

Just finished reading all that. Good reading aside from all the dummy's asking the same stupid questions over and over, but I didn't really see any talk about lifters. Which is what I was hoping to read.

1.) Someone needs to confirm if we can all get the older lifter version and 2.) I'm not really seeing anyone discuss why one lifter might be recommended over the other. Keyword, "Why" one is recommended over the other.

Just asked my buddy who works at a Mistu dealer and was told only 3Gen. but call around to your local jeep / dodge dealer and you may get some 1Gen NOS lifters. I got some myself to weeks ago. Will have to look for the part number.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned just how much shorter the 3G lifters are compared to the DSM lifters. All the serious drag guys I know that turn major RPM and make killer power all run stock lifters.

If I remember right the V2 are shorter but the V3 are just as tall as the V1

Here is the part from JEEP MD377054 - 1GEN Lifter . called up Mitsu dealer and it the same part number but has the bigger hole. so my only guess if you get them from jeep/dodge there are going to be NOS parts
