Why was my "door ripples" thread locked?

Hello,

I was just wondering why my door ripples thread was locked? Rather than risk being accused of spamming by sending all the Mods a PM, I figured I'd just ask here.

What I did is not technically bumping. I said the word "Bump" (more to be cute if anything) but the rules specifically state that bumping is the act of just putting a thread back to the top of the page.

I had new information INCLUDING PICTURES and that is why I put a new reply in the thread. I did NOT just "bump" it.

2. Read the rules and figure out which one you broke, as you STILL can't provide a damn link to the thread.

This question should be posted in the Site Feedback forum if you're trying to get the Mods to read it. Secondly, please do not use the word "Bump", even if you're just trying to be funny. We've had to put up with so much BS with members using that term that none of the Mods will find it funny, and yes, it could very well get closed because of it. I personally didn't find any other good reason for your thread to be closed aside from the "Bump", so it's been re-opened.
