But another question is....When yall start out in first, Do yall rev it like to 2, and let off the clutch easy, Iv been tryin just to go without it, and im haven truble, but i start at like 2 thousand rpms, and it rolls nicely, do yall do that.

You shouldn't have to rev it that high on a stock clutch. Shit, before my ACT2600 blew up, I probably only had to rev it to 1500 to get it going.

For your question. As w/ ANY manual transmission vehice, Slip the clutch on DD. Just tap the gas, rev to 1500-2000 rpms and slowly let the clutch out, you will begin to move, w/out any jerkyness or jounting. If you don't do this and drop the clutch, you could kill the clutch, tranny, axles, etc.

You were asking Defiant what he meant, right? Like I said in the last thread..PM Defiant himself & ask him. That was the reason your last thread was closed, as this one no doubt will have the same fate.

Its not like I was arguen with him, i was askin what he ment, Not in a mean way, I just bought my first DSM, And I dont wanna loose it, Iv put all my money into it, And I just wanted to see if im gettin my ass in a hell hole. Its nothin against him, I mean, if it was anybody else, i would have asked the same question....Im just worried about loosen my car. But yea i gotta treat it good, im not going to drag or anything, and now yall scared me from dropin the clutch, so im not goin to do that....

I should make a list of all my mods....but yeah i have a racing clutch tho, could that be why it wants to jump around in first? When i only rev it up to like 1500? Man, I hate stallin at a stop light, but thank god i got a dsm, I can get away in like 2 seconds. after i get it back on..

or a badass lets spin some awd tire stuffs?



i always used to hold about a 4k rev.
slip it out til i feel the car hangup and then drop the clutch and mash the gas,
rpm's would drop alittle and the car would squat and then the rpms flyup and the car rears up in the front and takes off

like its gonna fly to the moon.

the old 1g was even accused of pulling the drivers front wheel about a few inches off the ground.
