This happened at 30 psi while tunning tonight. I blew so hard it sounded just like a pipe blowing off at 30psi. This coupler is less than 2 months old and hass less than 300 miles on it. It has less than 30 miles at 30 psi. POS!

I have been waiting for 4 weeks to get my POS elbow. They sent me the wrong part and have been fighting since. Now I have this to look forward to. Great.
My problem is I need a strange size, anybody know where to get a 2.25-3.75in 45degree hump hose?

Almost looks like it was cut or damaged maybe before you got it, seeing as how its such a straight tear.

I agree, because I blew out a 90 silicone coupler before as well and it blew what you would think...a hole. That looks like it rub against metal or something, who knows though. Either way it sucks.

It was on the top of the coupler, there was nothing there to rub it. It boost leak tested to 35 psi 15 minutes before this happened. It also boost leak tested sevral times before this (I test the car 1 or 2 times a week depending on how many times I go to the track or retune). It was just a cheap coupler that cant handle the pressure. Mod cheap, Mod twice. Ihad to buy another coupler, searves me right trying to put something cheap on a 500hp car.

Man that must have been quite the sound. I blew off a coupler before while doing a boost leak test (didn't have a clamp on the tester tight enough) & man did that scare the crap out of me. That was at 20 psi, so Im sure 30 psi sounded great :D

What you need to de is go to a website called www.hightempsilicone.com & order one of their elbows. All their products may not be the cheepest but their quality is amazing, I've used all their hoses, vacuum lines etc & never had an issue. I currently run their 2 to 2.5" elbow for my turbo to IC connection & its been great :thumb:

looks like those boxes of food at the super market that get cut open when they unpack them.........that sucks send it back!

I'm thinking along that line as well. Those couplers might be boxed in plastic wrap, if that. A lot of bulk things are often just boxed.

+1- I have a coupler from them (Intake-->Turbo) and this thing is awesome. Highly recommended. Got it from ExtremePSI
