Why dont we have any meets?

Yeah, I heard Sac DSM meets show in numbers :thumb: Hopefully we can turn that around here in the bay and have good attendance meets and hang out

Hey Luis before you do that call up sean and make sure the dyno day isn't that day. I was at the shop the day him and jerry were planning it and I could have sworn that's the day they wanted to do that.
 
I think the problem with the meets is the fact that we make them so far ahead. If we had consistent meets every two weeks on sunday or something the people could make it when they can and dont if they cant. When you schedule a meet a month and a half ahead a lot of crap can happen between now and then.

For example... there were like 5 people in this thread ready to meet up and the meet got pushed up a month ahead.... why not just meet up? The organized meets dont seem to have more than 10 people show up anyways...

My thoughts are just the the planned out, month and a half ahead meets usually only net a few people, so why not just post up spur of the moment meets, or an ongoing meet every weekend so that if people have other plans cancelled or nothing do to they can just hop in their car and cruise to the "usual spot".

For all you san jose guys, what about Big Dogs Grill on Cherry? It is out of the way of most law enforcement and the owners are cool with cars meeting up there. I used to meet out there with a different club and before they close they are cool enough to tell us to come use the bathroom and refill on drinks.
 
I went to a couple of meets out there at Big Dogs, they were Subie meets if I remember correctly though. Would be nice to get a couple of folks out there.

I went to a few meets at Big Dogs when it was mostly all Subie guys. It was cool little spot.

As Zach said though, Bay Area DSMers aren't very reliable for some reason. I used to try and organize meets out there a few years ago. Not great turn out, even with plenty of notice. Not sure why. Good luck to the organizers.
