why can't i post i'm not a new member...what's the deal

title says it all ...i did a search can't find a thing on what i need...
i'm not a new member as you can see in my profile....

since i don't have permission to post anywhere but here.....can somebody point me in the direction to install an afc with a vpc.....

afc is already installed on car and i was wondering how i would tap a vpc into the mix....i'm running 680 injectors now ..and want to switch to speed density ....i do want to keep the afc , but i have always loved the vpc...i have a 1g and the vpc i got has a 550 chip.....

do i need to change the chip as well? or can the afc compensate..?

please help as this is my only place to post since i'm considered a new member even though i have been a member for a few years......

yea well i have 119post , and no rep, and no trader points or anything and i am still a new memeber. I dont even see how this rep thing works i dont get rep points from anyone.... so i guess I need some help with becomeing a proven memeber because im on this site at least once a day and i always try to post info to help people if i feel i know what im talking about......?

Deal with it. I've got 3 times your posts, and am still a new member. No one here gives out rep willingly. Accept it and move on. I see more posts by "proven members" that should be in the newbie section than not.

The only downfall is when you post in the newbie section and you help a newbie they can try to give you rep but since they are new as well their rep doesnt count untill they become proven members.

The system is flawed period. It seems that no one has the right to their own opinion, based on self knowledge. If you say something regardless if it's right or wrong. If someone does not agree with you. You get bad rep points. There were many time's i could have provided relevant information in other forums, but couldn't do to member status.

You only get negative rep points from moderators and wisemen, so if you get negative rep points, it's because you're posting bad info.

I can provide at least two instance's where i was correct but got bad rep points. In one instance where i simply recommended that an EGR plate can be simply fabricated with out the need to buy. Got a bad rep point. Another instance i was simply trying to help diagnose a problem. Got a bad rep point.

Another thing to keep in mind, many of us have families and jobs. In which we can't sit all day in front of the computer posting helpfull info, like some can.
