Why are the front ends different lengths?

Take a look at these pictures and tell me why the front ends are different lengths. When I say front end I mean from the end of the front wheels to the nose of the car.

Is it the camera angle? The fact that the one with the long front end is black so it appears longer because of the black tires and black gap?
 
it has to be an optical illusion, it does look longer though. when cars are lowered they look longer plus they are different angles and wheels like you said
 
it's a combination of it being a black car (can't see all the wheelgap from the tire to the quarter panel as well as with the red car) and the angle of the picture.
