whos running water-methanol???

Im leaning towards a water-meth addition to my 98 GSX. I have a built block/head, 57trim turbo, chipped ecu, and a stage 2.5 team RIP trans. - Yet i only ran a 12.79@106. ( at 15lbs of boost. ) I was looking into water meth to raise my boost levels above 20psi safely while leading to more hp, and quicker et. Anyone out there have anything positive or negative on adding a snow performance water-methanol kit? - How hard is it to fit that 2qrt tank into a 2g - Was it worth the money? - Any problems?. Please let me know if you are running a kit and not just somone who "heard its good". Thanks

I ran a 12.08 on the same turbo and a FWD, i did thios at 19psi on race gas with higher timing (any more boost and i spun way more)... It's all in the launch, and crank that boost up. That turbo isn't even starting to move good air till around 24 psi or so.

I know run meth and can get 24psi on pump with out knock at all.

I bolted my 2qt tank to the back of one o fhte back seats, mounted the pump below it and ran lines from the trunk to the driver compartment. Works great. I'ts a Devils Own kit

I am also FWD with a TRE stage 2.5 trans with Quaiffe LSD and now if i don't launch over 4500-5k on even street tires i have so much grip i bog it's the best mod for getting faster that i've added since an EMS and big turbo

what size intercooler do you have? only ask because 15 psi is really low unless its a stock sidemount, if so get a better ic before meth injection

Yes it will reduce knock significantly. I mounted a 1 gallon tank in my 2g underneath the spare tire cover. I cut a hole in the cover for the cap so I could refill it without lifting the cover.

I know this wasn't your question, but have you tried pulling timing and increasing boost? Most people don't make their full pump gas power with aggressive timing. You do it with a mild timing curve and more boost.
