I have a 90 eclipse with a big 16g, 3" straight turbo back exhaust, manual boost controller, rewired fuel pump.. I am running lean with 16-22psi on 93 pump gas, but when I use straight VP 105, it runs perfect. No knock or anything. I was thinking I was gonna have to get 550cc's and a 190lph pump + all the other tuning equp., but after running that high octane fuel, it seems all I need to do is increase the octane.?.? I was reading about the Snow Performance Water/Methonal Injection kits and it looks like it raises the octane level dramatically. Is this all I need,? would that solve my lean problem? Which would be better for my engine and wallet? Methonal Injection or inj, pump, maf, maf trans..??

I would rather get bigger injectors and a new pump unless you dont want to upgrade anymore then what your at now. Of course your gonna see knock at 16+psi on a 16g with stock fuel system. Its not made for it. You dont need the Maf-t setup either unless you want to vent your bov.
