white plugs

well i decided to pull my plugs today and i found that they are white....which i know means too much air and not enough fuel.....but what is even worse is they are autolite plugs....is there anyway to adjust the air/fuel ratio???? thanks for any help.

No way - Computer adjusts air/fuel ratio based on many sensors of which the front O2 sensor is crucial. Toss the Autolite and get real with some NGK BPR6ES or BPR6EKN. Use BPR7ES if need colder plug (modified engine or hard driving).

having white plugs is not a good sign, correct? so how can i fix this? or is this how the plugs always look in these cars?

If all your sensors are operating properly (so ECU sets proper mixture), you can try a colder plug (eg. BPR7ES instead of BPR6ES) which may solve your problem.

I would suggest hunting for and fixing all of your vacuum leaks (if any) etc . . .

When I first got my car, my plugs were always white as well. Then I had to replace the head gasket at some point and afterwords with all boost leaks fixed, etc . . . my plugs are now a nice tan color.
