Whistling after SMIM install

I got some things done to the car and after the Smim was installed I get a whistling at idle. Car also is smoking some while driving. My mechanic was describing the issue to me I get car tomorrow so I'll figure out was going on. I think the smoking is the tune, but any insight would be great. The whistling is weird, because my boy said the car drives fine. I'll get more info up soon as I can.

Check your shaft play in the turbo. What color is the smoke?

So your mechanic installed the manifold?

Did you perform a boost leak test? If not, do so.
When exactly is it smoking and what color? Acceleration only. deceleration, in between gears, etc.

smim will whistle at idle, Just do a BLT because you should anyway, but know the SMIM will whistle.

Just tell us what color smoke.

Smoke is white. Whistle is normal ok

white is coolant, mees with anything that uses coolant?

smoking is valve guides. There is oil in the exhaust you can see it pushing through the gasket. i did valve stem seals valves and we didn't do guides, because we thought they were fine, but now we are going to do them.

I'd also suggest a boost leak test as EclipseTrbo420A said.

Yea we will as soon as the new guides get put in and the car is back up and running. I can say this the stuff does look good and the car souds good, but its smoking like a freight train now.
