Which wideband to get?

Thread jacker. I found a glowshift wideband black 7 whatever... I'm not sure the whole name. Anyways, I found it under the seat. But I can't find the bosch sensor to go with it. I'll be using ecuflash with ceddymods, and logging with evoscan. I think I got that right... (Hopefully. That shit is a lot to understand. Most of it is WAY over my head) I was wondering if I should invest the 65-75 for the replacement sensor, or scrap it. That is if there is a good argument as to why the glowshifts suck. My research shows that its about 70-30 positive:negative. Feedback please

Every glowshift gauge I've ever used or seen has crapped out after 6-12 months, my buddy has a 3 pod glowshift setup and they all work for about 10 minutes and then kinda freak out until you turn it off.
