Which way does the rod bearing tang face?

First off don't reply unless you are 100% sure or have a picture to back up your answer. When mounting the rod onto the piston, where does the bearing tang go? Does it go towards the intake or exhaust side. I forgot and my machinist needs to know today so he can finish everything up. Thanks.

OK with a piston in one hand typing with the other, With the arrow faceing away from you the notches are to the right side. This was taken off a 90 engine.

And that would make it exhaust.
