WHICH tranny parts.

So I think I either popped a spring out of my act2600 or I broke my clutch fork.


end result: the tranny is coming off.
since its coming off and my car is going to see alot of track action...
id like to buy some upgrades from either tre or shep.
I'm going to install myself.
I was thinking of like the double syncro 1-2 kit, new shift forks, some other things..

Id like to stay under 1000 bucks with this tranny build so im looking for some recommendations on whats worth it and whats not.
I have dsmlink and I love my nolift to shift option so keep that in mind.

And yes, there are plenty of people out there with Shep and TRE trannies, how else would they stay in business?

$1000 for parts? or for the whole tranny?
Going to install the parts yourself? or you mean a whole tranny?

If you were looking for tranny parts I would start with boobs.

Seriously $1000 for a good transmission for someone in love with the NLTS is not a realistic goal. Are at least one thats not going to last long.

1000 bucks or under in parts. i have 2 awd 5 speed trannies and one good fwd turbo tranny to pull parts out of.

I think its realistic, total of 600 bucks i can get the double syncro 1-2 and 3-4 kits. other than that i'm at a loss of any really valuable upgrades since im not too familiar with what actual parts fail in the dsm trannies when you start adding power.

And if its not a capable idea then i'll simply shift normally.

I was also wondering if i can use any of the gearsets from the 2wd for a little better ratio on the strip.

Any recommendations would be appreciated instead of telling me its not possible.
