While i'm waiting on a response from PTE i thought i'd as the question here. I got an 8.3:1 weisco piston, scat rods 90 model block with mild bowl work done to the head. I am putting FP2 cams in, I have 1000cc injectors and already have the big PTE front mount IC. What pte turbo do i need to make 400awhp on pump gas and maybe 500awhp on race gas? While still maintaing quick spool time and the ability to be a DD.

I would recommend a 5557 Billet Ball bearing with a .63 a/r for your goals

I have a pte 57 trim dual ball. I got the pre built wheel, but i like it a lot. full boost at 3k and holds strong. and over 400whp stock motor. My current build is ross 8.5 with egl rods and big ported head with larger valves, kelford 272 etc. (still working on the block) but the turbo will flow enough for that motor as well. good luck!

I currently have a t3 masterpower turbo that the previous owner couldn't tell me much about, but it doesn't hit full boost till around 4k that's 18psi. I really want some more power on pump gas and i'm not sure how much more boost i can push with this one on pump gas. Car made 315 awhp at revhard inc, but it doesn't feel that fast, i've come from the v8world but i am guessing the car is a mid 13 second car when i would imagine this car with that power should run high 12's.

I've had bad personal experience with a pte turbo.
You have many options that will meet your goals and still have good spool and streetability.
This is going to depend on your budget as well but i'll name off a few options that I feel will meet your goals and have decent spool
BW S256, Fp3052, FpRed, Hx35 or 40. There are plenty more options as well as different turbine and A/R options for most of the turbos.
Just do plenty of research before deciding.

Well i want a turbo that will work with my current t3 4 bolt tubular header that will allow me to keep the xs power wastegate i'm using which is external. From my impression PTE makes very good ball bearing turbos. I want BB and external WG, i'm open to all options, not looking to spend more than 1500.

PTE has really stepped up the game. They have a ton of awesome turbos available for our platform. With the power you are looking for, the 5857 is going to be your best bet!

Would you be refering to this one EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts - Precision T & E HP5857R Ball Bearing Billet T3/T4 Turbocharger: 605 HP

Also what AR? .63?

prostreetdsmx1 you hit the nail right on the head, pte got back with me and that's what they recommended if i was going to be doing quite a bit of street driving, if it was more track than street they recommended the 6262.
