Which water pipe with pte 50 trim

I am installing a pte 50 trim and after researching about most people denting their water pipes, I am wondering if I should just purchase a nt water pipe. My question is if which water pipe I should use. I have a 98 gsx with a 6 bolt bottom end and a 2g head.

The 2g water pipe is the only one you can use because of the 2g head. Even with a 1g head, the turbo and non-turbo water pipes are the same diameter. The turbo one just has an extra nipple welded on for coolant going to the turbo.

I would say just use the pipe you have now. As you know you have to dent the pipe, but its not that bad and wont affect your coolant system.

Cap off the upper line, go to your local nut and bolt store, and pick up a bolt to put in the water pipe. After you bolt that up, fill with coolant. Then stop by your local beer store, and have a Bud Light.
