Ok i know that any true and smart dsm guy gets suporting mods and then buys a bigger turbo. But i got my hands on a PTE 50 trim for 400 dollars shipped and there was no way that I was gonna pass this up. Even worse case scenario the turbo needs a rebuild which right now it does not the guy i bought it from is pretty straight up but you never know, that is still only around 225 dollars and would still be around how much i would pay for one anyway.
The real point is that I have no FMIC and still on my 450cc inectors. Now I do have a walbro 255 and a AFPR so i think if I can run enough fuel to get me by if I can keep the hp around 300. Thing is this turbo is a beast from what I've heard. I don't want to blow my engine because i sent crap loads of hot air into the engine and knocked like a JL W7.
For anyone saying to wait and just get the suporting mods I am rebuilding my whole engine and have the head off and I just purchased a SS ported and polished exhaust manifold and I have a O2 dump so i would love to put everything on the PTE while it's out and just put it back on the head and save myself thr trouble of doing it later.
The main question is around how much boost can I run and not blow my engine. I would like to not have to ####y foot the gas either but if this thing is just to big to give it any real gas i guess i can do it for 2 weeks or so.

but you'll find that PTEs HP ratings have been pretty sketchy in the past, whereas AGP uses actual customer Dyno#s. Then again both of these turbos use the same comp/turbine wheels, so diffs should be slight and related to turbine housing design.
