My mods are up to date along with SAFC2, logger, and a FIC 650CC injectors and EVO3 ported manifold and install kit....im getting this turbo, the PTE SCM3427 turbo ### im getting a really good deal for it. Anyone using this turbo? And with the mods i have listed here and in my profile...is good enough to support the turbo? Any input would help..thanks

Mods are good for now but it is hard to tune 650cc injectors with just a SAFCII. A lot of time's they can't conpensate enough so you don't really get it tuned where you need it. I would stay in the lower boost level's until you get DSMLink or something alittle better to tune with. Not saying you can't tune with it because I know you can but it's more difficult.

so what else is better to tune with then a SAFC2 beside a DSMLink?

If you are looking for a cheap tuning method, get a 95 eprom ecu and have it chipped and use it in conjuction with the afc. If $ is no object, aem ems should do what you need it to.

yea i get the Eprom...thats like 200 bucks and have it chipped...then use it with SAFC....thats about the same if not more then the DSMLink. Alrite well back to the question with my turbo.....no one used this or using this?

Alrite would 550cc injectors good for this turbo?.....i know its enough for the SAFC2 but its good enough for the turbo SCM3427?

First of all an safc2 and eprom does not do more than dsmlink. Second 650cc injectors and an safc2 may not be perfect, but i would guess at least 500 people on here run safc's with 650's,680's, or even 720's. Timing is hard to account for, but if money is a huge budget 650's will be fine. Most people with 650's arnt having problems completely becasue of timing but from unreliable injectors. Get denso's they will be much more reliable and eiser to tune with than FIC or PTE etc. Not to bash these companys becasue with the right equipment these can be great products just saying they are more difficult to tune with on afc.

alrite thank you. THe only reason i would get 650cc injectors is becuase later one when i want to upgrade to a stronger and bigger turbo i wouldnt have to spend any more money on injectors. I will look up the Denso's injectors..thank you for the advice.

I looked at the PTE site but they reallly didnt give much info on the turbo. I want trials opinions. People who had it or using it please let us know how the turbo is.
