I've read recent post and I see that if your piston has 63D on them there N/T, Well the engine that I'm building has pistons with 63DMK... Can someone tell me exactly what this means??? I also have a spare pair of 63DTF1's that I have from my old engine, what does that code mean exactly???? I'm asking because for the time being I need to make sure that one of these are for Turbo til I have the ends to buy new ones (my DD)... Should I change them and throw in my turbo stock spares???:hmm:

The "63DTF1" are from a 2G turbo engine. The "63D" is a 1G (and 2G in Europe) non-turbo.

"63DMK" is Mitsubishi part no. MD192212, though JNZtuning's OEM catalog cannot source that part. So I am a little lost there as well.

Edit: "63DMK" is a piston used as the Standard B piston in D27A (turbo) model Euro Eclipses between 05/1992 and 03/1994. It has an 85mm diameter like a typical 4G63 piston and is 67.7mm long (tall). The groove widths vary slightly (undersized) from 1G 6-bolt measurements: the compression ring grooves measure 1.2mm and 1.5mm; the oil ring groove measures 3.0mm.
