which motor?

I bought a jdm 6 bolt from Soken motors in Cali, its on its way right now, but i talked
to them about it, and was wondering exactly which motor it is and what car it's from...is it
from a galant vr4?
from what i know it has:
jdm 6 bolt 1g, red top, blue injectors, but doesn't say "cyclone" on the manifold
it just says turbo intercooler instead...obviously it isn't a cyclone manifold but which
version of the jdm motor is this?

Its not JDM if it doesnt say Cyclone. 4G63 comes from all 1 gen DSMs and the GVR4. Hope you didnt pay extra for you JDM engine.

yea dude it is a cyclone intake. i got a jdm from the same ppl and mine says turbo intercooler on it also but the word cyclone is in front of that but if its got the dual runner setup.its a cyclone.

Oooooooooooo, I didnt understand that it said Cyclone AND Turbo Intercooler. There arent different versions as far as I know. There are 6/7 bolt engines, but youve got a 6 bolt. That means pre 92.5.

The intake mani from my JDM 6bolt does not say cyclone but it does indeed have dual runners. Not all "Cyclone Intakes" say cyclone on them.

I got mine because it was cheap, complete, had bigger injectors and had a 16g on it. For 1200 bucks it was a deal.

where did you get it? did it come awd set up tranny transfer case ect.?

because people like me blow their motors and don't wanna spend the money on a rebuild, your motors our of a JDM Galant by the way
