Which Head Studs?

Which head studs do I want? I have a 1G 7 bolt short block with a 6 bolt head on it. Do I want 6 or 7 bolt head studs? Thanks in advance.

I believe when people put 6 bolt heads on, modifications are made to the block. I'd go with the 6 bolt ARPs.

You need the 7 bolt (11mm) head studs because that is what the block is threaded for. The 6 bolt head is drilled for 12mm studs so no modifications should be needed.

After looking really hard for some threads, the best I came up with are these. It's 180 degrees to what you want but they do talk about 6bolt heads on 7bolt blocks here and there. Romeen is right. Disregard what I said. Go with 7 bolt studs instead.
