where will i hit fuel cut?

You should be running more than 10psi stock. Do you have a boost gauge. Most people say not to go over 16lbs on stock fuel system. I wasn't cutting till 22lbs on my 2g with a 16g so maybe it's different between gens idk.

IIRC, you can keep turning it up until your MAF sensor reports an airflow of 2.5 grams per engine revolution. And it's called fuel cut, not boost cut, simply because the fuel supply is completely cut off to the engine and the engine shuts down. At speed, it will get your attention very quickly.

Got a logger? Boost leak tester?
You need both.

I was getting fuel cut at about 15psi with my 2g. As long as you get a walbro 255 and an AFPR you'll be fine.

Not completely true. Yes, you'll have the fuel to be fine, but the ECU is still going to shut off the injectors when it hits the limit. You will need tuning electronics in order to defeat fuel cut.

Tell that to my car... I don't tune it at all and I no longer get fuel cut. Maybe I forgot to add that I have 450s? I don't know but I don't get fuel cut anymore.

sorry to bring back my dead thread. I dont have a logger i wanted to skip tht and get dsmlink v3 (AFTER MBC AND EXHAUST) so thats why i wanted to know if i could run like 15psi and the exhaust without fuel cut then ill get dsmlink and then get my dsmlink and start doing more like 225 fuel pump and stuff like that.

Get Link as soon as you can. Until you have some way of logging your timing, knock, and fuel, I wouldn't even think of raising your boost above 12psi.

Do your boost leak tests. Run premium fuel. Do more boost leak tests. Once you get Link and start monitoring your IDC, knock, and timing levels, THEN you can start playing with leaning out, raising boost, advancing timing, whatever. A wideband O2 is going to serve you a lot better than a 255lph pump will at this point. Also bear in mind that a 255lph pump is way overkill for running 18psi or less, compounded by the fact that you'll also need to get an AFPR to go along with it.

Boost leaks are 99% the reason people hit fuel cut. If you have a bad boost leak the turbo will still try to reach and hold the set boost. So if your running 20psi on a 16g and you have a huge boost leak the turbo is pulling in equivelant to lets say 30+psi which will overrun the maf and cause fuel cut. On a boost leak free system the 1g maf will handle well over 300whp and the 2g well over 400whp. So unless you guys are running monstor turbos or 30+ psi fuel cut should not happen if the turbo system is boost leak free.

get a safc it is good enough for what you got don't go over board with the dsm link you dont need it with you t25. I have a 50 trim garret and im using a apexi safc with a wideband. I just need a new o2 sensor and to get this car tune my o2 sensor is broke so i not able to tune my car.

getting bigger injectors, an AFPR, or bigger fuel pump won't get rid of fuel cut. it is calculated by airflow. you would need to an safc, which i recommend against, or an eeprom ecu and chip (dsmlink is good) that is programmed for no fuel cut.
