where to get parts for external wastegate

Where can i get the parts that I need to do external wastgate on my e16g, but I dont want to change the exhaust manifold because I just bought the new dnp race one

if you just bought a new race manifold without the flange from the collector, you will have to go the o2 route. For one, you will need to get rid of your internal flapper and open up that area first in the turbine housing. then you will need to buy/make a custom o2 housing that will let you utilize an external wastegate. you can choose to have it dump or rerouted towards the exhaust, up to you.

you need to unbolt the wastegate actuator (gold thing) from the compressor housing, 3 12 or 14mm bolts, then unhook the cotter pin that is holding the rod onto the wastegate flapper arm.

So I just leave the hole open, I have seen in some threads they say to weld it shut, do you know anyother places to get the 02 setup, thanks

that is correct, welding the door shut is the way to go.

The only reason to weld the flapper door shut is if you are running an external wastegate off of the manifold. When you are running off of the o2 housing, you want the flapper removed and the wastegate hole ported.
