where would the external wastegate go?

If there is no port for it on the manifold, it attaches to the turbo ala..

For that manifold you would have to get an external mounted on the o2 housing.

ok one more question, when you are gonna do a turbo upgrade lets say u get a t3/t4 or a garret T04 or 20G or 18G the turbine housing aren't all the same so how do u know what o2 housing to buy to fit the turbo u have?.. its a newbish question i know..
