Where to buy Holset Parts?

I can't remember how I found it exactly (I would think I found it here) but I remember finding a site that sold tons and tons of holset parts. Shafts, wheels, housings....everything. Im wondering if anyone knows where to buy these parts (mainly interested in compressor wheels) and if you could point me in a good direction it would be appreciated.

I was thinking more of some sort of website that deals in genuine holset parts. I know of some cummins parts dealers but I really don't like working that kind of stuff out over the phone.

It's going to be the same deal regardless. I would suspect Justin would know where but he ready stated to goto an authorized Holset dealer.

I know what you are talking about. . . Phone, internet: the only difference is the conversation. This is a diesel turbo application. Leave it at that. Fortunately diesel turbos work well on gassers and don't mention your amazing "discovery" of such. Tell them exactly what you need. period. Go on with your life and let them. No need to get into a philosophical debate about a turbo application. Math/science and philosophy don't jive on purpose

I would rather look at a website, see an image of what I want, verify with a part number and throw it in a shopping cart. I never really enjoyed talking over with a salesman or some guy sitting at a phone in a garage. High Tech Turbo is one website that I was thinking of and I just remembered it.

I've bought several parts on the web and got it wrong too. The same computers/database that fail the store clerk fail the website user

When you do the research yourself and hand them a part number, it eliminates any idiot mistakes done behind the counter. When you ask for a part by number, there's literally nothing that can go wrong....unless it's somehow boxed wrong. It happens.

Give your local Cummins dealer a little credit- the workers they hire are generally knowledgeable of the parts they sell. This isn't like buying an air filter at AutoZone.

As a parts man myself it would be better for you know what your looking for, don't call in asking for the do hicky thing or brass whatever.

I had to learn the hard way as well. You need the appropriate part numbers for what you are looking for. You cannot call toa a Holset dealer asking for a HX35 CHRA as there are too many variations. Just find the numbers and call

I have part numbers but even then I have gotten wrong parts. Like when I ordered a transmission seal for the axle, I got a wrong one....even when I gave them the right part number . Ill continue looking around because we don't really have any cummins dealers around here.

Well within a couple minutes on Google typing in "Holset parts" I got these 2

Overall it seems you'll still need to get part numbers and talk to someone on the phone.
