Where to buy BP 57 trim rebuild kit???

Lots of places. It's just a normal Garrett t3/t4 turbocharger. T3 turbine mated to T4 compressor. Just because Bullseye sells it doesn't mean it's anything special. Maybe the housings are theirs, but that means diddly squat when rebuilding. Don't buy a Chinese rebuild kit though. Buy genuine Garrett or USA made aftermarket from G-Pop or similar. If they've "upgraded" it to the 360 degree thrust set-up then you'll have to buy the 360 thrust bearing, special collar and spacer for it separate unless you don't mind going back to the 270. If you're not going to run the piss out of it then 270 should be just fine anyway. I've actually grown to like the 270 more since I've been seeing a lot of 360 set-ups come loose (they're bolted down) and cause major failures.

throw that turbo away, i had the same one and it lasted 2500 miles, started having shaft play at 1000mi. I bought a fp18g and the car pulls harder then it ever did with the 57trim. W@hen i called bullseye they told me "new motors always whip out a turbo, unless u run a filter on the oil supply line", then i told him i had a filter there so he said "well it can still happen". I took the turbo apart and it looks like the exhaust seal on the turbo was forced in and bent. bullseye sux, thats why they changed there name from mutt to bullseye

That's why I got the rebuild kit. Mine already had shaft play after 1000 miles on a built motor. I just had it rebuilt again and I'm expecting to rebuild it within 1000 miles. Hopefully it will last after I rebuild it. If it doesn't then I'm going to go for the BW 256 Extended Tip turbo.

Thanks,

Tom

They haven't been using BW cartridges forever....they started with Garrett, then Holset, and now BW.

I've got their 57 Trim JB turbo. What CHRA do I have? I think it's the Garrett but that's just a guess. How can I identify it?

Thanks,

Tom
