Where should I go from here?

Well i recently did a compression test and the reults were :160-156-121-145.

I did a wet test on the last two cylinders and the compression went up to 205 and 180. So it looks like I may have some bad piston rings. That may also be causing my dipstick shooting .

My question is, would it be worth it to further modify the car, sell it, or keep it like it is until it dies.

The car is a 92 gsx 5 speed with 135k on it. My mods are: dejon uicp & intake pipe, mbc, walbro 190, ported 2g manifold, ported 14b, ported evo3 o2 housing, 3" turboback, ST rear sway bar, slotted rotors and short shifter.

Right now I am saving for a timing belt/water pump tune up, and a new clutch/flywheel combo. I would really love to get some injectors, some type of 16g or 50 trim, and MAFT. But I don't know if its worth it if I am losing compression, and I can't afford a motor rebuild or deal with the down time.

I have spent alot of time and money on this car and I don't know where I should go from here.

What would you guys do if you were in my position?

hey dont get rid of it it sounds like you have some time and money into it. i would save up and get it fix.

Ya just fix it, there will be down time with the car but once its fixed it will run like a champ.

Get your motor running tip-top before you do any more mods, or modding it would be like working against yourself.

So you guys are recommending rebuilding the motor? Or just new piston rings? I haven't looked into a motor rebuild much. Anyone have a rough estimate on what it would cost, depending on what I need done??
